Weatherboard refresh, Bulimba

A worker’s cottage on stumps that had not been painted in fifteen years.

What we did

• Replaced six rotten boards with the owner’s okay before painting.
• Sealed every nail head and gap so the colour reads as one clean surface.
• Painted the stumps and battens under the house in a dark charcoal so they disappear.
