A two-storey timber home whose paint had gone chalky on the western side and was lifting along the verandah rail.

What we did

Washed the whole house and let it dry for two days before any scraping.
Scraped and sanded every loose edge, filled split boards, and spot-primed bare timber.
Two topcoats of exterior acrylic on the boards and two of gloss enamel on the trim and rail.
Covered the garden beds and the owners’ outdoor furniture each morning, and cleared it all every afternoon.
