Open-plan living, New Farm

A high-ceilinged open-plan room with a staircase that needed scaffold inside.

What we did

• Set up a small internal scaffold for the void over the stairs.
• Sanded and enamelled the balustrade before the walls so drips could not land on fresh colour.
• Worked one zone at a time so the family kept using the kitchen.
